My DH is headed north to help his father clear out a room that is going to be rented to a grad student this upcoming semester. I just want to remember meeting Petr Chlanda who came to our lab and did cryo-electron microscopy using our equipment. It was very exciting to see that it could be done (by someone who actually did this stuff for his doctoral thesis). So, we're working on the Core grant & I'm tasked, yet again, with the next-to-impossible here at Global Dynamics. The whole grant is now more than 4 inches thick, but it's the providing evidence that we can do what we claim that is making my life difficult at the moment ( Read more... )
