Zeus may soon be featured in a soon-to-publish MAGDRL.org coffee table book, to be called Spirit of the Dane. Tomorrow I will also be picking up Zeus's ashes from Ann Arundel Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Annapolis, as we drive in that direction for a weekend on the shore in Delaware. I will thus end up taking Zeus's ashes, instead of Zeus himself, with me in the car to the shore. I don't know if Zeus ever went to the ocean, and I was looking forward to ( Read more... )

Went to the Bowie Dog Park Last night. After we were there a while, a 100-lb 4-y-o Great Dane named Buck arrived, with his father. The man and his wife had adopted Buck from MAGDRL.org about 2 weeks prior. Buck is a "cruelty case"--apparently he was removed from a very bad situation, and then a foster home kept him for a while to bring his weight ( Read more... )
