goofy!
There is a skate park where I work, and I often have the opportunity to watch the kids skate. I thought to myself the other day, Jeez, a lot of these kids are riding with their left foot forward. Then I tried to remember which way I rode a skateboard or scooter and I couldn't remember. I became very confused about which was was riding goofy and which way was riding regular! I just knew that I rode regular... or so I thought! I was watching the kid with the ripstik and he was like, "Look, I'm riding goofy!" and had his right foot forward. "No, wait, I thought that left foot forward was goofy," said I. "No," he said, "Right foot is goofy." I just wrote it off as him riding a ripstik and not knowing what he was talking about. So I asked one of my skater friends at the park which was which, and he said the same thing as the guy on the ripstik! Determined to figure this out, I came home and put on some Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2, in which my custom character, Hostile Ralph, rides goofy. Right foot forward! I hopped on my skateboard. Right foot forward! Right foot forward is goofy and that's how I ride?? Is this true?
