Sam doesn't join Dean
I'm looking for a fic I read many years ago. I don't remember if it's on LJ or on ao3.
So after the case from the pilot is solved and Jessica dies, Sam decides against going with Dean.
So Dean is all alone again. He nearly dies without Sam when he needed to kill the Wendigo of episode 2. When he meets up with John Dean tells him "The Wendigo nearly killed me" and John answers "I knew you boys would deal with it" to which he replies "Sam isn't here" or something along those lines. I can not remember if Castiel was in it or not. I think so, but I could be wrong. Does anyone have any idea what fic it could be?
