Jessica loved Sam with all her heart. There was so much about him that she didn’t know. His past was a forbidden subject. If there was anything Sam could tell her, he would bring it up. Still, she loved him for who he was now.
His smile was addictive. She’s do anything to see those dimples on his face and hear his laugh. All it took was the simple things.
She’d press against him at night and he’d put a protective arm around her. She felt so safe. Sam could protect her from anything. He even kept bad dreams away.
