Summary: A voice like fresh air.
Headphones in, book open on his lap, Sam sinks into a world even more fantastic and bizarre than his own. Stephen Fry’s crisp clear voice settles in his ears as he reads along in time to the picture of a universe he loves, being painted by a man who Sam could listen to reading the phonebook.
Dean finds Sam immersed in someone else’s life, and smiles softly at his brother who doesn’t even realise his lips are moving.
"Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much.”

Dean knows most people look at him and see a neanderthal with a weapon obsession; hack and slash first, ask questions never. They don’t see his whip crack wit, his ability to build a solution to any problem out of bailing twine and electrical tape. They also don’t see his love of gorgeous things.
Not his Busty Asian Beauty collection, but the scant minutes of peace to indulge in his love of creativity.
Today they’re in Washington DC and Dean is admiring the way John Singer Sargent paints arms - the depth of grace in their frames.

From the day he came into being he didn’t agree with putting strictures on the way in which people chose to find their faith - strength - the ability to move forward in their own worlds.
Faith isn’t a thing you should structure. It’s a feeling inside, a warmth and sense of knowing you aren’t alone. That’s all that matters. Buddhist, Muslim, Christian, Pagan - it’s all the same song sung in different tongues.
