So apparently I get to be depressed even in my dreams now. I dreamed last night that I was feeling really really down. I decided that since it was my birthday everybody else should feel this way too and I ended up setting off a doomsday device that I had stashed away for such an occasion. WTF.

I dreamed last night that I was the second coming of Jesus. I was healing people all over the place and people were coming to me for blessings and advice and stuff. And then I had to sand down the ends of all these logs and I woke up.

WTF.

I had a phonecall from the aeroclub yesterday. The only plane registered for recreational aviation was written off when a student had to make an emergency landing. The student's fine, but the plane totally isn't. They won't be able to get another plane with recreational registration until probably January at the very earliest, so my first solo is ( Read more... )

To get from the lifts to the office area at my work, there are two glass doors you can go through. One of them was broken by a trady last week so they put a big wooden panel over until it can be fixed because it's a security risk.

Just came down from doing circuits - the windsock said that the wind was ok, but it really really wasn't! There's heaps of wind sheer at the end of the runway which is making it really hard to land, and a really strong crosswind is messing up our approaches and in turn making landings even harder again! Come on guys, I can't be the only one who thinks that a community full of people posting photos of their breakfast online is weird.  I mean, seriously, WTF ofmornings?!?!?!  That is officially weird.  And not in a good way.  They're a bunch of foodophiles.  And it's not even sexy food.   It's breakfast.  *shudder*
