So I have been using this black cocoa powder that my mum picked up for me about a year ago that I hadn't any real clue as to how they made it so dark or what to use it for initially other than the little note on the package (it came from this super amazing Mennonite bulk food store that has insanely cheap prices on spices!) that said:

The first time I made brownie bites I made a peanut butter variety because my neighbor Lisa came over looking for chocolate (which I usually had).  I had none at that time, but because I know what chocolate cravings are like, I broke out a box of brownie mix.

These cookies were initally made for my friend Jim for his birthday.  Being uber smart, I made COOKIES for a man who is allergic to eggs.  Whoops. :) They turned out pretty wicked acutally, but as a disclaimer, be sure you have milk or soymilk or something on hand.  You will lament their abscence if you have none.
