Breathing heavily, Sam entered the dark bathroom at the gas station. He switched on the lights, but the lightbulb over his head only flickered, leaving him in almost complete darkness.
“You can run, Sammy, but you can’t hide. You should know that by now.”
Startled, Sam turned around. “What do you want?!”
“Oh, you know what I want, Sammy.”
“Don’t call me Sammy!” Sam shouted so loud, he was almost sure he could be heard on the outside, too. He hoped that Dean wouldn’t come looking for him.
The ominous voice continued with a slight laughter, “Or maybe I already have you where I want you.”
“You won’t get it. I won’t help you! I will never allow it, as long as I’m here! You will have to kill me first.”
“If that is all what it takes…”
The evil laughter echoed through the tiny room. Sam shivered and closed his eyes for a second. He felt the sinister presence all around him.
“Never will you get to me! Never!”
With full force, Sam hit the mirror in front of him with his fist. The glass shattered in a thousand pieces. The lightbulb shattered as well. And still Sam could hear the voice in his head.
“Come out, come out, wherever you are…” And again, the laughter.
