Summary: Joe and Demi are going steady, but when Joe starts to notice how unreceptive Demi is, he goes to the only person who can help him-Selena.
A/N: SO! This was inspired by a story my mom told me some time ago while we were in the car, that all of her friend’s ex boyfriends turn gay right after breaking up with her. Sad, but that's reality XD And you can guess where I'm going with this...
This is also my first attempt a multi-chaptered fic so... Uh... Comments would be nice :]

A/N: So it may start of as somewhat, Joe/jemi centric but believe me, it'll only be like this for the first two chapters or so.
Joe Jonas liked to think of himself as a ladies man. And he prided himself in that.
But of course, with all the throngs of screaming girls in attendance at their concerts, all the fan mail he receives daily, and maybe being mobbed by girls time and again... he never did think his chances with dating were slim to none.
He may not have gone out with tons of girls, but enough for him to be the envy of a lot of the male teen population-and some females.
His most notable relationship, so far, is his current one-with best friend, Demi Lovato. The second Demi outed them on national radio-which quickly spread to over the world-he felt some strange sense of relief and fear. No, not for himself but for his girlfriend. He knew how popular he and his brothers were, hence the screaming girls at their concerts, so he knows that there would be a major uproar amongst the tween and teen population around the globe.
He's not saying that his past relationships didn't bring some kind of buzz. There was AJ Michalka, Taylor Swift and their infamous 27-second-phone-call, and his latest breakup, Camilla Belle who he was dating for almost a year. He's worried though of what would happen if Demi were to suddenly not be attached to his hip, which lately they’ve been, and not for him to hold.
He always shook the thought away, especially when Taylor would somehow enter his mind. Of course he didn't want to blame the blonde country singer for his sudden discomfort whenever the thought of Demi leaving him entered his subconscious. He knew that the raven haired singer loved to write about her feelings, so if there somehow were to become a Forever and Always 2.0, he thinks the backlash he’ll receive is going to be quite... painful, is putting it lightly.
Though, it's been a good 6 months since they announced that they were together and Joe's birthday is just around the corner, with Demi's five days after, of course. But with how long they’ve been together, and with how long they’ve been best friends, Joe starts to notice all the little changes in Demi's actions. She's less receptive towards, she's becoming distant, and she talks to Nick and Kevin, even Frankie, more than she does with him, and she smiles less.
He also noticed this a lot with Taylor before, but he brushed it off thinking it was nothing. Of course, he only had to be enlightened by his brothers to notice how Taylor was more cheery and happy around a certain Latina actress for him to come to some realization thanks to Kevin and his wonderful story of a friend from high school whose exes all swung for the other team after breaking up-or before in some cases.
Holy shit, he thinks after hearing Kevin tell his “rather hilarious” story. Demi did laugh at it though when Kevin talked about it, so for now, Joe thinks he's in the clear.
