Homeward Bound
ETA two hours and counting before my stuff is back in my truck and I'm heading away from Port Fourchon (pronounced FooShawn)
The plan is as follows.
6am - 8:30 am Drive to New Orleans to stop at the office and have them approve me to go to the following schools.
Bridge Teamwork Procedure - 3 8 hour days
Radar Observer - Unlimited - 5 8 hour days
Advanced Radar Plotting Aid (ARPA Radar)- 5 8 hour days
Global Maritime Distress Safety System - 10 8 hour days
Dynamic Positioning Introduction - 5 8 hour days
Medical Care Provider - 5 8 Hour days
If I can get them to approve it I'll start attending the classes in New Orleans next week, be paid a half day's pay while doing it and have a hotel room in New Orleans roughly till July.
9am - 2pm Drive to Houston
2pm - 3pm Deposit my payroll check and pay my slip rental fee.
3pm - 8pm Drive to Denton Texas to stay with Vic
Tonight sometime is dinner with Patricia before she leaves Texas tomorrow.
I'm so glad to be getting back to land finally.
