On Thursday night last week, I went to the 9:20 Special, our biggest weekly lindy hop venue in San Francisco. There was a competition that night, a "Pro/Am Competition", which meant that in each partnership one person had to be a pro lindy hopper and the other had to be an amateur. I participated in the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee Competition this last Saturday and my partner Rosendo and I made it into the finals! Here's video of it:
