PhotoShigenic #74
Shige went to pay a visit to a married couple who just gave birth to a baby girl.
Wanting to buy a nice present, he went browsing some baby goods stores.
Shige's real ambition is to train to "conquer the affection of Koyama's future children", let's keep it secret to Koyama though (?!)
We wonder how crazy in love Shige will become when he will have his own kids...

As you know, this month I got the opportunity to be in the cover and front article of this magazine, besides the usual coverage. They even created a layout from my words in the cover, maybe this took more time than the ones with the other members. I'm very thankful, thank you. My front article was quite serious so I want to keep it light here and talk about some backstage. The first day we had the shootings for the cover and the skating part. Since we had a planning meeting for this I thought the rink had been booked, but when we arrived there were a lot of kids learning skating figures and running everywhere.
"Eh?! You didn't reserve it?"
"We tried but they said we could do it only at 3am so..."
...Indeed that time would have been impossible...It can't be helped, let's stay in a corner of the rink. You can't see them in the pictures but also the staff was skating. Somebody was very good at it, others looked like a baby deer trying to walk for the first time. We had great fun. I had forgotten how it felt to skate. "Look, aren't I unexpectedly good?" ...well, behind me there were the future Olympics figure skaters swirling, jumping...don't shadow me!!!! "Shige, try to spin!" ....HOW CAN I?!?! Of course I couldn't skate too excitedly in front of all those kids...I just skated around the rink two times and it was enough...ah~ I really wanted to show off skating!!!
The next day. We met in the early morning to go to a shooting location a little away from the city, a camp along the river. The tent was already there so the staff began cutting the vegetables silently. It seems this BBQ started from my idea when I said that I'd like to prepare peppers on a skewer. I tried cutting them too but it was quite difficult. That's when I remembered the manzai by Tutorial-san. We even bought spiny lobsters, what a feast! It didn't feel as working at all. We roasted the marshmallows, we warmed up the Baumkuchen, the afternoon arrived without even noticing. "They say that in the nearby it's possible to fish the Rainbow Trout" ...Yay!! I don't have much experience in river fishing though, I don't know how to do it. I tried to ask to the fishers there: "...Well...you put the bait and then you do like this (gesture of waving arm)" ...of course. They replied with such a serious face though, I didn't feel to ask more. We rented the fishing tools and they gave us salmon roe. Eh? You fish it with salmon? I didn't ask for details and I just tried to guess...I put the bait and do like this (waving the arm)...I caught something! I really did!! I made fun of that explanation but they were right...I'm sorry. So, how was this issue of WU? I had so much fun shooting this. I'd be happy if you enjoyed it even more than me.
Shige & kids is always an adorable subject ♥ I'm sorry for being so MIA with my translations...I'm not even busy but well... orz
Anyway, I want to thank you for the birthday wishes I received (here, on Twitter, Facebook, Line, etc...) this weekend. I'm very thankful ♥ I love you~
