Poor Little Chef

I have to confess a love for the Little Chef.

In years gone by it was the highlight of any long road journey.  As a kid I used to nag my parents to stop a couple of miles outside Brighton as there was a Little Chef there, even though it was 10 minutes from home.

Unfortunately like some of the 'great' British retailers Little Chef hasn't been having a good time lately.  Whilst the likes of Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury are well on the way to recovery, things for the Little Chef seem to have been getting worse.  The BBC web site today has yet more bad news for the fabulous chain.

I checked out their web site and I'm pleased to say at least some of them now have wi-fi access, so at least the chains moving forward.  If you get the chance I would particuarly recommend the Olympic Breakfast although there's no tempting photos I could find online.

Find your nearest Little Chef here.
