(no subject)
I seem to have forgotten that I've got this account recently. Ah well.
I am now 21 and that's a bit scary and although I shall kick myself for saying this in about 10 years time I do feel 'old'. Ahem. I keep thinking about what I thought 21 was all about when I was younger and I don't think I fit any of those expectations. Which is more than a little scary.
But whether it's because of the fact I have realised that I am getting older, and, along with that, that my time at uni shall be drawing to a close sooner than I'd like to admit, I've been very organised and actually started to think about what I shall be doing this time next year, even this time in 5 or 10 years. Now I didn't say I've actually done much about this (apart from paying a visit to the career's centre) but actually thinking about it practically is a result for me in its self. So go me.
My birthday was really cool though. Everyone made the effort and dressed-up for the Moulin Rouge/Cabaret-themed night at the gay bar, which Bo, Neady and Tracy all made it to (yay!) and I had a nice meal with my family the day afterwards. On Monday (my actual birthday) Cristain and Rob were very sweet and gave me money for John and I to have a meal together. And that was fantastic too :-D
As for now, I seem to be a little bogged down by everything and not sure where to start! Too much to do and not enough time to do it in it would seem.
But I would like to say thank you to everyone who made my birthday so very special and so very memorable(!) And as ever, the pictures will be up on Facebook asap... ;-)
