A day before New Year's Eve, my dad asked me to take him into town, because with his newly adjusted heart meds he wasn't supposed to drive until they'd settled. My sister checked herself into Maine Medical Center's mental health hospital today. Apparently she's in the middle of a full-blown nervous breakdown. Guess the Celexa didn't work as well as her doctor hoped.

So, last night after I was done flailing about the election results, I went to install Norton 360 version 2 on my laptop, and my hard drive failed. AWESOMESAUCE. LeRoi Moore, the saxophonist from Dave Matthews Band, died today, while recovering from a June ATV accident. His contributions to the band's sound -- not only through playing sax, but flute and a few other woodwinds, as well -- are a huge part of what what made me adore DMB for over a decade. His loss is a huge one to the musical community.

Since, apparently, death is all iTunes is capable of lately, is there another, similar program I can use for iPod synching/media library management? I have the suspicion that after my music library hit 13,000, iTunes decided to implode. Also, I kinda hate WinAMP and Windows Media Player. Any suggestions?
