Do you know how hard it is to find a planner that isn't utterly terrible? Not only are they far too ornate just to write down what the fuck you have to do in-with their zippers and holograms and picture pages-but they also loose track of the entire point of having a planner, the pages with enough space to write in! Shucks, I just ended up buying this little, black, simple blank book with graph paper in it. Which works for me, and I like it lots.
School. School school school. I LOVE school. Five out of the six teachers I have are fabulous and witty and brilliant; and the one who isn't, isn't a dick or anything, he's just kinda boring, and I may be getting out of his class anyway. Here's the story...I took Geology with a lab at the community college and transferred it into UNCG. Well, I can only tranfer the lecture part of the course, so I signed up for a simliar class at UNCG just for the lab and I'm going to try to get out of the lecture part. I talked to the secretary and the department head and they both said it shouldn't be a problem, but I'd need to talk to my professor. Good luck to me, yes yes.
It really worries me just how much the public school system stifled my joy of reading and writing, but it also makes me proud to be going to school to make a difference in that. Yesterday, Josh tried out for another band (didn't work out...every band he tries out for wants him, but he doesn't want them. i suppose it's a nice problem.) and while they were playing I decided to read the first act of A Midsummer Night's Dream since I have a quiz on it Monday. Well...I read half of the play, and only stopped because they were done and we were leaving. More importantly, I LOVED IT! I actually really like my reading lists. I'm such an English geek. Who knew?
