Mission Complete
I'm Back!
Back from our mission trip that is. It was fantastic to be at M-Fuge for the week.
We took seven boys to camp, Daniel, Dallas, Dylan, Hunter, Smitty, AP and Matthew.
Some went saved and some went lost. They all came back saved.
Each day was a full schedule of bible study, worship, praise and field mission work.
I got tapped to be on the PCY mission--that is Paint, Clean-up and Yard-work. One thing I know: I won't volunteer for that as a first choice again. It may be find for young people with lots of energy and great flexibility, but us older folks always came back dragging our heels. Next time I think I will try something like Creative...yes, i think I could enjoy making balloon animals for little kids.
The experience was one of those things you never forget. I would gladly do it again next year if circumstances allow.
Now I have to attend to a whole week's worth of unanswered emails and neglected projects.
