Have I mentioned in the last, um, year that I love my band? I'm like five billion percent sure I have. But you know what? I LOVE MY BAND AND HAVE NO QUALMS ABOUT SAYING IT AGAIN IN CAPSLOCK. No, really, they're amazing. And mine. Mineminemineminemine. You cannot have them. <333
Um, so as you've probably gathered there is much love for them, and also that they played well tonight. Well, the world "well" is an understatement, because they played supercrazyawesomeamazingly!well. Times five bajillion and twenty nine. Or something. No issues, no flailing required, it went smoothly and they played what they were supposed to and they are seriously better than they have been in a long time... and they're different now, so in a way it's better than they've been at all in the history of ever, even though I loved and still love the old band too. But seriously, they sound like a proper, serious band, ready for a recording studio or something. <3333
And of course I must make my obligatory weekly/bi-weekly separate note here that the violin was freaking amazing tonight, even though I'm sure I've said that so many times it's probably becoming annoying that every Sunday/Wednesday I'm saying it, but still. Seriously, you guys, I need to get this stuff recorded so I can share the freakin' awesome with you. <333
Also in the morning, doing sound training/lurking, I got to actually do one of the sets' solos and one group song. I was gleefully bouncy for hours afterwards. Still am, actually. Whee!
All in all, a good, very soundgeek sort of day. <333333
