HOMG! My mom forgot to close the rat cage properly and my brother and I just spent the last half hour or so chasing our smallest and fastest rat all over the freaking house. So today kinda sucked. I came into work early because my boss isn't feeling well and had a doctor's appointment. I also have to open tomorrow at 8:30am on what would have been my day off because she's staying overnight for observation. Granted, that's a very good reason. I just found out that my rat, Ianto, died last night :( It feels weird. I keep looking over at his cage, expecting him to be there, but he isn't. What makes it even worse is that it really hit my mom. She's having a hard time right now and this isn't what she needed.
