Raises head from football induced stupor
I spent the entire long weekend watching nothing but football from the bowl games to yesterday's final games of the NFL regular season. The Steelers didn't make the playoff's because Baltimore and the Jets didn't lay down and die for them. I'm a little upset, but what the hell; there's always next year. But Tomlin and LeBeau had better figure out what the hell went wrong this season and fix it.
Anyway, moving on... Woke up this morning to several inches of snow. It had the whole damned weekend to snow when I didn't have to go anywhere, but it waiting until today. Fortunately the snow was powdery so it didn't take a lot of effort to brush it off my car, Still, I'm very much ready for winter to be gone.
I haven't watched the latest Doctor Who yet, so I'm trying really hard to avoid spoilers. I may not get to it until after the Super Bowl at this rate. LOL
I have my airline reservations made for August's trip to Chicago to see David, Joe, Chris, and some guy named Shanks at Creation Con. Yay! I've never been to a Creation Con, and I see people complaining about them all the time, but as long as I get to see the guys and get their autographs (which will go into the big box o' crap I never look at again), and maybe pictures (well, definitely a picture with David!), I'll be happy.
Ugh, guess I'd better get to work. I've been messing around booking my flight and reading lj, and not accomplishing anything I'm getting paid for.
