I NEED A SNUGGIE, STAT!
It's 21oF (-6C). And that's just in my office. Okay, that's the outside temp, but it feels that cold in my office. I'm sitting here in a sweater and with my coat draped over my shoulders and I'm still cold. Man, I'd love to be wrapped in a thick, warm blanket with an electric heater at my feet. And maybe a cat or two on my lap.
When I got out of my car to walk the block and a half to work this morning, I thought I was gonna die! I was so glad my coat has a high collar that snaps closed and a hood, because I flipped that hood up and then ducked my head down into my coat collar as far as I could because the wind was like ice. I may have looked like a turtle, but I was a much warmer turtle than the co-workers I was walking with.
I really hate it being dark when I leave work at 5pm. It feels like my entire day is gone. I'll be so glad when we hit the winter solstice and the days start to gradually get longer again.
Winter? Not a fan.
