I am carless
I am sans car this morning as I had to drop it off at the shop for oil change, state inspection, and to check out the faulty gear shift light. It doesn't come on when I first turn on the lights, but after a couple minutes, it does. There may be a short. Also, it turns out, there was a recall for... blah, blah, blah whatever it was, that I didn't get a notice for. Bad Hyundai! Bad! Anyway the service department will take care of it, and I'll get my car back later today than I hoped, but I brought my lunch so no big deal. I'm lucky that the dealership's service department is within walking distance of my workplace. Unfortunately, they're planning to move the whole operation up to the new shopping center at the Highlands which is so very, very inconvenient to me. I don't know what I'll do about my service now, as the Highlands is definitely not within walking distance. :-(
I watched the finale of The Biggest Loser, and I was happy with both the at-home winner and the biggest loser. Thank god that crazy bitch Tracy didn't with the $100,000! I can't stand her, and I don't care if she developed anorexia in order to win the money, which is how she looked ot me. Rebecca looked great (except I didn't like her blonde hair), and I was so glad she beat out Tracy. As for The Biggest Loser, I pretty much knew that Dan had won as soon as he burst through his picture. He looked really good. I don't know how well he'll do at keeping the weight off, but I wish him luck doing so because he's a very handsome man without all that weight.
So, no more The Biggest Loser until January. And I don't know when the next The Amazing Race starts. I was happy with the winners of that one, too. I've given up Survivor for this season. I hate all the contestants, and couldn't care less if a typhoon came in and washed the whole bunch of them into the ocean.
LJ claims that they got the notifications snafu fixed but it'll be a while before they get through the backlog to get them sent out. I went through all my most recent posts and answered comments I'd missed. I hope I got them all. I know I'm not looking forward to the avalanche of comments hitting my inbox. *facepalm*
And now, I think I should get back to work.
