Me: And I want to apply to Harvard also, just for fun, to see if I could get in, but I'm not sure if they have the law degree program I'm looking for...
Mom: Oh ok, that's nice.
Me: Mom... did you hear me? I said I'm applying to Harvard Law....
Mom: What? Kind of, sorry I was busy. You weren't kidding?
Me: No, I think I actually have a shot at getting accepted if I do well on the LSATs, but I don't know if I would want to go there.
Mom: Haha well, you have to get scholarships, don't expect us to be able to help you out.
Me: Thanks, Mom.
My parents are so lucky I've turned out as well as I have.
