When I write my dissertation, I sometimes want to insert funny comments in there. I don't mean hilarious anecdotes, but more like linguistic inside jokes. It can be lame, or it can be fun. I haven't decided yet. But it's probably unprofessional, so I shouldn't insert anything of that type.
Here's another view of that statue on Place Broglie. I like the shape of it and the clouds in the blue sky. I also like the fact that you can just distinguish the date on there. Because the memories of the soldiers have faded, but they will always remembered anyway.
