This is a statue to the dead on Place Broglie in Strasbourg. Every year on November 11, the mayor put flowers at its feet in remembrance of those who died in a war.
What a sunny day it was when I took that picture last April. It was just perfect. There was an art market on the square as well, and Alexandra bought me and herself very beautiful (and expensive) necklaces. They had to be ordered, so I don't have mine yet, but she will give it to me next time we see each other.
