It was clear the kid was too busy staring at the sign to notice him, but he couldn't stop himself from gawking at the boy as the kid gawked at the ice cream parlour. That... wasn't him from a different world, was it? No, he would always be blonde, but that kid looked really close to him.
Cautiously, he walked silently behind the kid and stared at the mop of brown hair before reaching up and touching his own blonde spikes. "You're a weird looking kid. Did you get teased a lot?"

Any chance of a scoffing remark was dismissed as soon as he realised who it was. Instead his eyes widened and his jaw practically dropped in shock. "Cloud!? You're here too?"
How long had it been since he'd seen Cloud? Months. And months. And last time he had been in the midst of battle. He didn't look too injured now though, thankfully.

Of course, of all the reactions he was expecting, recognition wasn't one of them. He blinked when the kid called him by name, crossing his arms over his chest and contemplating whether he had actually met this guy before. Nope, his memory might have been faulty, but he would remember a kid like this.
"How do you know my name?"

People not recognising him when he knew them was something Sora had experienced in this world on a few occasions now. While it still seemed strange, and in a way a bit depressing, he was getting used to it. In Cloud's case, though, he was willing to consider the possibility that maybe he was the same Cloud, but somehow disappearing into the sky was in some way connected to memory loss. Which reminded him...
"Did you defeat Sephiroth?" He asked this in much the same way as one would ask whether you managed to buy milk on the way home from the shops. A pleasant, hopeful sort of tone.

The white-haired boy barely noticed Sora's entrance. Too busy eating, yo.

He had to stop himself from running over. So. Many. Flavours. He leaned perhaps a little too closely to the glass, his eyes roving the multitude of options available. Should he go for his favourite, or try something new?
Oh, and there was still the lingering problem of price.
"Excuse me, how much is that one?" He pointed to the blueberry, "And that one?" He pointed to another equally as tasty looking flavour he'd just spotted, "And that one? ... Oh! And that one?"

Then again, he could believe it.

He frowned at the thought as he heard the door open and close behind him. More patrons. He wanted to make sure his indecision wasn't going to be causing too much of a line so he turned to see how many people had walked through the door.
His eyes widened a little at the sight of a face he recognised, and he smiled. This must be Yuuri, the boy from the communicator network thing. Or at least someone who looked very much like him. Odds were good though, so he left his post momentarily to walk over and say hello.
"Yuuri?" He asked, smiling.

"Huh?" He sounded before glancing back over to where his name was being asked. Blinking, it only took him a second for his mind to supply him with a memory. Eyes widening, the young Maou spun around to face the other boy. "Eeeeh?! Sora?" Yuuri asked sounding entirely surprised.

Sora laughed, “Yes, it’s me. From the network thing. How are you?”
Yuuri looking freezing, to put it bluntly. This wasn’t hard to identify though, normally people who rubbed their arms like that only did so to restore warmth to them. Sora himself was wearing a jacket only because he already had been whilst sitting at home (they were free on the first day, so he hadn’t thought twice about keeping it) but he was barely feeling the cold himself, so he took it off and offered it to Yuuri; “Would you like to borrow this?”

If it weren't for a familiar figure (or rather, a familiar head of spiky brown hair) she probably would have just passed by without stopping.
"Sora?"

"Aqua! It's great to see you again. Are you here for ice cream too?" He was terrible at masking his emotions, so hopefulness definitely shone through in his tone. Maybe Aqua enjoyed ice cream just as much as him? He would have called it a quality of a keyblade bearer but both Riku and Kairi did not share his passion nearly to the same extent. In fact at times he suspected they partook of the tasty treat solely for his benefit. He wasn't about to bring that up in complaint though. Eating ice cream with friends was much more enjoyable than eating ice cream alone. In fact, after their last conversation, Sora suspected Aqua could have used some right about now.

"...I was just passing by, actually."
Aqua had half a mind to remind him that it as still too cold for ice cream but in the face of Sora's enthusiasm it almost felt like she was plotting to kick a puppy so she refrained for now.
She looked between Sora and the ice creamery.
"Is that why you're here?" Though the answer to that seemed rather obvious.

But he was a man on a mission, and for the time being he was going to keep pursuing this goal. "Yup, that's why I'm here. Only found out this city had an ice cream place a little while ago! Can you believe it?" He grinned, his enthusiasm for ice cream was practically limitless, but his passion for helping those in need certainly out weighed it (in most cases). He would have to keep attempting to evaluate whether Aqua was indeed feeling any better or not.

It also made her want ice cream. She had been searching through the shops in the general shopping district when she spotted it: Death Robbins. The name was a bit strange, but she found most of the things here were called something similiar. So, not hesitating at all, she pushed open the door and stepping inside. Good choice, she decided, when the smell of ice cream hit her.
It was only when she got to the counter that she recognized the back of someone's head. Someone she would know anywhere. "Sora!!"

"Kairi!" There she was, in the ice creamery as well. He had a sudden urge to ask her where she'd been and what she'd been up to, but thought it might have sounded a bit too abrasive. He could politely ask later, first things first; "Are you here to eat some ice cream too?"
He smiled, he was in fact quite pleased to see her. This city didn't seem dangerous at first, but people kept telling him it was likely the calm before the storm, as it were. He was also simply happy to be able to spend time with her. Close to three years without her, trying to find her, and now she was right here. In an ice cream store. Did life get any better than this? Sora thought not.

"What kind are you getting?" She glanced behind him towards the counter, "And how many scoops?" Kairi thought two was a good amount, that was she wouldn't have to choose between her favourites.

He turned back to the counter and pondered his answer. "I'm not sure yet, I don't know which ones to pick, or how many. What do you think you might get?"
