He frowned at the thought as he heard the door open and close behind him. More patrons. He wanted to make sure his indecision wasn't going to be causing too much of a line so he turned to see how many people had walked through the door.
His eyes widened a little at the sight of a face he recognised, and he smiled. This must be Yuuri, the boy from the communicator network thing. Or at least someone who looked very much like him. Odds were good though, so he left his post momentarily to walk over and say hello.
"Yuuri?" He asked, smiling.

"Huh?" He sounded before glancing back over to where his name was being asked. Blinking, it only took him a second for his mind to supply him with a memory. Eyes widening, the young Maou spun around to face the other boy. "Eeeeh?! Sora?" Yuuri asked sounding entirely surprised.

Sora laughed, “Yes, it’s me. From the network thing. How are you?”
Yuuri looking freezing, to put it bluntly. This wasn’t hard to identify though, normally people who rubbed their arms like that only did so to restore warmth to them. Sora himself was wearing a jacket only because he already had been whilst sitting at home (they were free on the first day, so he hadn’t thought twice about keeping it) but he was barely feeling the cold himself, so he took it off and offered it to Yuuri; “Would you like to borrow this?”

Watching as Sora took off his jacket, the young Maou blinked when it was offered to him. "Are you sure?" He was cold, yeah, but Yuuri didn't want to deprive anyone else of their warmth just because he'd left his behind at the clinic. "I'll be fine. All I need to do is just give myself a minute to warm up.'

Coming back to Earth, however, he watched Yuuri try to refuse the jacket, and instead simply proffered it a second time. “No, I’ll be fine. Take the jacket, you look like ice. Wait in here for a little while if you still want. You could help me choose an ice cream flavour? I was having trouble.”
Sora usually needed help deciding when presented with so many options. It was a little known fact that Goofy was a worlds-class ice cream critic. He had helped Sora pick out flavours more times than he could remember.

When the jacket was offered a second time, Yuuri had little choice but to take it. The small pang of guilt at refusing had settled in, and as he reluctantly took the jacket, the young Maou bowed as he offered his thanks. That was kind of Sora, and he'd have to think of a way to repay his new-found friend.
"Sure, I can help you with that," Yuuri said with a grin. Tucking the jacket under his arm, the young Maou made his way over to where the ice cream was all on display. "What flavours do you usually like?"

"Well, why don't you have the vanilla and blueberry one today, and pick a new flavour next time?" Yuuri suggested while glancing at his friend. That was what he would do, but Sora might want to try something different than the usual.

"Are you getting any Yuuri?"

Blinking, he peered at Sora. When was the last time that he had an ice cream? Yuuri couldn't even remember, and he inwardly grinned sheepishly at the thought. "Sure! Now let me see..." Yuuri's words trailed off as he looked at the options available. "I think that I'll just go for vanilla myself."

If Sora was a wiser person he might have thought that spoke volumes about Yuuri's personal character. As it was, however, he just thought it was a nice choice.
"Good choice! We can eat on the way to your errand, if you like?" Sora often invited himself along to things where friends were concerned. He wasn't one for being too offended if people said no either. In this case though, he wanted to make sure Yuuri didn't spend too much time off the clock on his behalf.

"Eeh? You want to come along with me?" Yuuri asked. It wasn't as though he minded at all, but he hadn't expected it either!

Helping people was what Sora did best. He hadn't been able to help enough in this town yet, and helping a friend was especially high on his list of priorities. Not that Yuuri wouldn't have been able to handle whatever task he needed to complete, but Sora always preferred to be in a group if the offer was there, rather than get things done alone.

They had their ice creams now, and with a welcoming wave, the young Maou gestured for his friend to follow. It wouldn't take long, but it was a good way to get to know Sora better. And with that thought, he made his way out of the shop and continued on his way.
