[He smiles, a warm smile that is somehow still just a little bit off, like the smile of an actor who doesn't feel what he's acting, only replicates the feelings. The off-ness is minimal though, and probably difficult to notice or to brush off and newcomer's anxiety.]
This is a nice enough setup. I suppose it'll have to do for a diversion, since I have no choice. I do hope you'll all take good care of me.
