[ Jade knew she was a little early; in Death City she was usually early to most things, a strange habit that she had come to enjoy. Someone in her group of friends had to be there before everything started, after all. Now, she stood outside of Nepeta's apartment, knocking on the door awkwardly. Knocking was still weird for her -- at home, she had never closed the doors, let alone had to lock them or knock before entering a room. Dave had taught her to knock their first week in Death City, after she walked into the bathroom (it was an awkward situation, she didn't talk about it much). She played with the sleeve of her shirt, waiting for an answer. ]

[Nepeta bounded over to the door, that had to be her! She pulled the door open and greeted Jade with a big smile.]

Hi Jade! [you can has hug]

Not too much! I just pulled the cupcakes out of the oven a bit ago. Would you like to decorate them with me?

[ A grin. ] Sure, that sounds like fun! I've never decorated cupcakes before.

if you do i would so stalk it, it would be golden

Its the best part! And I have all sorts of furrosting! Come in, come in! [she shows Jade the way to the kitchen which is a little messy after it's recent use, but there is a nice batch of cupcakes on the table surrounded by different tubes of frosting of all colors]

Oh wow, that's a ton! [ She is so excited. This is so cool. ] Where did you get them?

There's this bakery in the city where you can get supplies too. They sell some of the best stuff! [she pulls up a chair for Jade to sit at]

I'll have to go there sometime! Though when I learn how to make cupcakes without burning them.

If you want maybe, if you like these maybe I could show you how I do them? I'm still kinda learning myself though.

That would be pretty neat! I'd love to learn. How do we ice, though?

Okay! [she rolls up her sleeves] Usually it's better to make your own icing. At least none of these are as good the home made stuff but I don't want them to go to waste. It's not too hard though. You've got your stuff for spreading, and your stuff for piping! [she points to each of the tools]

Homemade is always better, but it's good to not throw anything away that you can actually use.
