[Aradia isn't sure what to think when she hears a knock at her door, because company was usually a planned thing. She frowns curiously, swiftly abandoning the piles of books she borrowed from the library and turning the knob to find an unexpected Nepeta!]

[Nepeta smiled, wagging her tail behind her]

Hi Arawrdia! I just wanted to see how you were doing. Are you busy right now? I brought some tea and snacks!

[And she returns it, opening the door wider for her to enter blanket fort central.]

How nice. I hear you have a partner now! Congratulations.

[Once Nep is in, Aradia ventures over to the Research Corner and takes all of her books off of the table.]

[BLANKET FORTS. She is all for this and she hops into the room, nodding her head]

Thank you! Her name is Rei. She's one of my cubs and she's real, real nice. [she tilts her head to the side, noticing all the books.]

[ Jade knew she was a little early; in Death City she was usually early to most things, a strange habit that she had come to enjoy. Someone in her group of friends had to be there before everything started, after all. Now, she stood outside of Nepeta's apartment, knocking on the door awkwardly. Knocking was still weird for her -- at home, she had never closed the doors, let alone had to lock them or knock before entering a room. Dave had taught her to knock their first week in Death City, after she walked into the bathroom (it was an awkward situation, she didn't talk about it much). She played with the sleeve of her shirt, waiting for an answer. ]

[Nepeta bounded over to the door, that had to be her! She pulled the door open and greeted Jade with a big smile.]
