samsausage posted his entry for the second week of LJ Idol. Of course, I had to look back two pages on my friends page to find it. That's not why I'm writing this. I just wanted to share part of the comment I left on it.
Now, thanks to you, I have an image of Jehovah, cowboy hat tipped back and a longneck bottle of beer hanging loosely from his left hand ( Read more... )

I almost deleted your comment instead of deleting the message thingy.

Oh, I know the song. It was all the drinking party rage back in my youth. ;)

Knowing the song doesn't mean you understand it, though. I wouldn't guess that you would take the time to listen to a country song to find out that it actually has a meaning.;-P

Of course, just because I tell people to go read it, doesn't mean they will. See the above conversation. And most of the people on my friends list probably won't bother going to vote, either. But I did like this one, and I can't get that image out of my head.:-)

The only people on my friends list who are actually in the contest are sabbysteg, samsausage, and dizzydog. They're all good writers, and they all deserve votes. I'll let you know if any of them gets in trouble. Unless they don't want me to.
