Holiday/Season Day (Spirit Week Day Two)

Oct 20, 2009 17:10

 Yeah. Fun day.
Couldn't find my shoes this morning, stepped out of the house in my old camo jacket (since I left my new one in Jack's truck this morning) and a pair of old jeans, with no belt.
Of course I'd forget that.
As I walked out of my yard and pulled up my pants, I ran smack into Dylan, a freshmen who lives near me. Dylan has an older brother named Tommy, who was a senior drummer last year. I miss him. He was so awesome. Dylan plays the french horn, but he's nothing like Tommy.
He's cool in his own, shy way.
Anyway I ran into Dylan, pissed about not being able to find ONE of TWO shoes (because every pair of shoes has two shoes...) and I yelled, "Fuck, Dylan!"
He looked at me like he was going to cry. I felt awful.

At school I started to bake in my camo getup, and I was tired of people asking, "What's your holiday?" so I just took it all off.
My holiday was the opening day of deer season.
"Thank you for taking an interest in my life."

Band was okay...not really. It was just one of those push-yourself-until-you-feel-like-screaming sort of days. Nothing I can't handle. :)
Mrs. Leffler got mad because not everyone knew the music. She was right to be mad. The only thing she's asked of us is to give it our best (corny, yeah) and to memorize two pieces of music. I know I'm guilty of not giving it my all (still corny) and not memorizing all of my music. I don't think I can justify laziness.
She was just putting us in check.

So, after a frustrating school day, i came home and looked at the calendar. Tomorrow is the last day for bow season (deer), and Thursday goes to muzzle.
I hate muzzle.
But I only have to suffer for four days, and then it goes back to bow.
This girl can't WAIT for shotgun!
