This weekend -- non-embroidery. Been researching for my German dress. First one will be the kampfrau (to be started after January). Working on items needed so will have materials needed. It is really bad when you need to call hubby at work to locate items in your own kitchen (loaf pan, cheese cloth, etc.)

Last night I made dinner using a period recipe; Medieval Game Hen. I used one cornish hen and it came out GREAT!! I did not have any Pugliese bread, so I used a slice of Sheepherder's bread.
Note: This was the winning entry for the Copper Spoon competition at Cynagua Spring Coronet last weekend.
