I think I'm just about back to normal now after the past month or so's worth of travel and shennanigans.

The Jubilee weekend was ok, though we got totally drenched on the Sunday when dancing out in Wantage. I was so proud of Miss B though, she danced out for the first time with her disco dancing group and did really well, even with the rain.

A sparrow flew into the house on Wed afternoon. I tried to catch it, but it hid somewhere and I thought it had escaped. When we all came home from work yesterday, it was still in the house. This time though it decided to hide in the cupboard where it was easily retrieved and sent on its way outside ( Read more... )

Visits to the States as kids were never complete without a trip to Buffalo zoo, and I'm very glad to say that simply because I's (mostly) grown up now, we didn't abandon the tradition ( Read more... )

Well, made it over with no problems, though it was a long trip. Myself and the maternal unit were downright shattered by the time we got to the Auntie's house, the maternal unit more so than me, as she's been up to catch a flight from Dublin at 3am ( Read more... )
