-Tea~~~ Got to the tea shop and restocked a bit. (Gunpowder, jasmine, and sencha. Just had a cup of the sencha, and it is delicious.)

-On Friday, a bird flew down the chimney into the fireplace. Chocolate Jelly Bellies are officially one of the vilest things I have ever had the misfortune to put in my mouth. They seem all right at first, but then they reveal their true nature as concentrated evil. The aftertaste lingers for entirely too long, too. Choice Organic Teas - Orange Spice Tea: this was a gift, and whoa is the orange scent ever strong. I took the plastic off the box and went WOW ORANGE. It steeps dark, and the flavor is akin to most orange spice teas one will find around - it's nothing terribly unusual, though it's tasty enough. No complaints. I will, however, ( Read more... )

I have had limited experience with Yogi Tea, but what I have tasted of it has thus far been pretty good. They have some really neat-sounding flavors (Egyptian licorice! Mayan cocoa! dude!), some of which I should like to get my hands on at some point.

In light of that, I have recently taken possession of two boxes of their tea.

Stash Tea's Monkey King Jasmine - Mmmm. This has a lovely delicate scent (much admired by my mother as it was steeping), brews a pale color, and tastes delicious. It's got a marvelous flowery flavor to match the fragrance. This gets my approval, especially since it's the first of Stash's loose teas that I've tried.
