So I have been going to write each night for a few days now and here it is a week later, again! I do remember that last weekend I took down the 3 artificial trees and lights from my Light Show, with Sally's help. We took down the Santa truck display and I got down a bunch of other items too. I would say I am about half done on that. Then in the evening we went to Skandia to the A&M Cafe for supper. We had purchased a half off coupon from a local tv station.
Sunday we had a special meeting after church to vote for our new half time paster who will share time with another congregation in Negaunee. The vote passed and so she hopefully will soon start. When we got home, later in the afternoon, I cleaned around the wood stove in the garage and took the outer housing off to see why I had a fire in there the last time I used it. There were actually flames blowing out of the heat ducts on top of the wood stove furnace. I determined that something had fallen in the top opening vents and just got hot and burnt, but with the blower going to force out the hot air, it really fanned the flames and blew them out from the heat ducts. So I put it back together, made a fire in the wood stove and it worked fine. I then cleaned up the garage a bit, by mostly cutting open numerous boxes from Christmas gifts and orders so they are ready for recycling. Our recycling in the winter is only the first and third Saturdays, so I will have to wait another week before I get them out of there.
Tuesday evening we had our theater awards and annual meeting at a pizza place in Ishpeming. It was lots of fun, except almost every person that received an award wasn't there as they had to work, were out of town, or were at another event. Wednesday I went to Marquette to have my tail pipe on my Jeep welded back onto the muffler since it had rusted off. I did some shopping and errands and then went to the theater to install motion lights in the dressing rooms and some of the rooms upstairs in the Thrift Shop. Then I went to the bank, stopped at a few places in Gwinn and went home. Sally wasn't feeling too well, so I went to SubWay to get subs for supper.
Today was a trip to the ER for Sally, as it turns out she has slight pneumonia and the flu. I did a few errands, bought tickets for some plays coming up, a little bit of grocery shopping and delivered some items to the place that where she knits for their afternoon get together that she couldn't go to. We came home, picked up some meds and watched tv this evening.
