First thing this morning, I did what I should have done last night. Remove the seven screws securing the lid on my DVD player to see what's wrong. A disc was not set correctly and thus was jamming up the carousel.

DVD player is now fixed. Disc Two is sadly scuffed, so I hope it still works when I reconnect things later.
