Also, we have decided that Katelyn babbles like a Jawa.
And I don't post enough, but on top of Rob's foot re-swelling after 3 days' driving *head!desk* I had a run-in with the flu earlier this week. Oh, fun fun fun. I'm better now, anyway, though he's still hobbling :( -

Rob and I were talking about poi* yesterday, and he suddenly jumped up to find this classic on Youtube. Apparently it was a HUGE hit in NZ 20-odd years ago :)
You really do have to watch the whole thing, if only for the weird bop guy and poi on rollerskates!
* I find it quite amusing that Wikipedia lists poi dancing/singing as "poi (juggling)". -

Slowly but surely I am working out this new reality that involves 24hr care of a small 5-week old being who lives up to her pre-birth nickname of Squirmy :)
Today, Katelyn decided to dance.. kind of.. There's no sound for you to hear, but the purple swinging toy is playing "Pop Goes The Weasel". Cue the dancing baby!

Overstocking the freezer
Rob's dad and step-mum arrive on Monday and will stay with my mum due to space constraints. Rob and I will still be running them round in the day, but we'll help compensate mum for the invasion by doing dinner for everyone in the evenings - at least that's the plan.
