I learned today that Freddie died peacefully.  My heart is sad.  At the same time, my heart is relieved, and I feel at peace knowing that Freddie is at peace now.  He's not suffering anymore.   Rocco, Wally, and I have walked by his house so many times, just hoping to catch a glimpse of him, or scoop him up if he had escaped again.  Now we won't ( Read more... )

 
On Monday Ed called me on his way home from work and told me to meet him about 10 blocks from our house with a bowl of dog food and some water.   While riding his bike home from work, he came across a dog who was so emaciated and weak that he could barely stand.  The dog was wandering aimlessly, and while he had tags, none of them gave his name or ( Read more... )

Rocco and Wally went to the vet today to get their teeth cleaned.  Rocco had to get a tooth pulled, which we expected.  He's a chewer, and at one point he chewed on a bone and chipped part of his tooth.

I had a great birthday.  Ed and I had an amazing dinner on my birthday at WA Frost.  The food, the atmosphere, and the service were out of this world.  I had a wonderful time.  We came home after dinner and shared a piece of birthday cake.
