Wine With Breakfast
It's been quite some time since I've done a photo post, so here it is!
What have we been up to, you might ask?
Wally graduated from Puppy Kindergarten a few weeks ago... looking towards the future!
On Saturday, we all piled into the car to go up north for a few days.
We were really way out in the middle of nowhere! This is the town hall. We never did see the town.
We stayed in a cabin on a huge wildlife refuge pond. Here's the male swan keeping an eye on things.
We decided to take a long walk on Saturday night. The sunset was beautiful reflecting on the water.
And since we were on vacation, we made sure to eat well. I haven't had a grilled hot dog in far too long!

One of the best parts about the weekend was that the dogs got to run free the whole time. They played with the owners' dog, Sky, most of the time, chasing her for acres. Once in a while they paused to bask in the sun on the deck.
On Sunay morning, we went for a run and then Ed made a marvelous breakfast: black beans, thick cut bacon, scrambled eggs with smoked cheddar cheese, and warm tortillas. And wine. Of course. Hey, it was noon!
Ed and I were well rested, but Rocco and Wally were pooped! Just like us, they were not thrilled that the weekend had to end.
"Dad, do we really have to leave?"
