Observations: While my pace was still super slow...I did accomplish something! The intervals this week have been:
Walk: 5 min, Run 1.5 min & walk 1.5 min, Run 3min & walk 3 min, Repeat the 1.5 & 3 min things again + 5 min cool down
Today..i did all that, but added an extra 3 min & 1.5 min run, respectively. Pretty cool!
I guess I'm getting scared about next week (when I shall have to run 3 min and 5 min. Eek!)
My Nike app also pointed out to me that I'm starting fast & losing steam, so that's good to know. This makes sense..because at the beginning I noticed I had some 6 & 7's for my pace..and it looks like my average was a 13:29 mi mile..so yeah I totally need to pace myself better, especially for next week!
Update: Indulged in some chips with my dinner at the really great taco place. (Yum!) Then, (thanks to a merry Christmas gift from an awesome dude!) I got to come home & use this shin wrap thing with an ice pack inside. Such amazing relief. I feel healed! :)
Now I know I can do this! Also: I am finding myself growing accustomed to liking kind of crappy music, because..while it may be stupid, it keeps me running lol. Oh well. Worth it! :)
