Do not let this fic's flippant summary fool you: This is a story by the legendary Anise, which means that although it can be humourous and banter-filled, there are deep and intense currents underneath where the intrigue lies in wait to pull you in. The story starts off innocuously enough, with Ginny as an artist trying to lose her virginity with varying degrees of failure. Draco enters from stage left and Ginny's attraction to him is overwhelming, and from there the ball starts rolling into the aforementioned intrigue. Expect immortals, bent realities, and long chains of fate to come into play. Anise excels at creating sexual/emotional tension and writing captivating surreality. She's made Draco into an even nastier piece of work than she usually does (courtesy of his father, naturally), but even he can't keep his true self from Ginny indefinitely. I'm gorging myself on sweet, sweet angst. For me (and I've read ahead at the FIA) the story is at its heart a mystery - who is Marie?
