Now, how did you find your way into the City?  How do you plan on getting out?

No, no... that's a rather tall order, isn't it?

Is there a way to exit the City of one's own free will? Do the deities dictate the curses, or are they at the whim of a higher power? What is their agenda? How did so many worlds come to intersect at this specific time and juncture? Is there a distinctive pattern to the curses, and can they be avoided?

Er... those are the most important. Would you like tea? I suspect it's impolite to reenact the Inquisition without at least offering that much.
