how do you feel about dragons, Celty? hasnoteefs October 19 2010, 21:55:59 UTC
Clearly Somarium just has it in for you today, Celty, because rounding a nearby corner as you go to head inside of the grocery store is none other than Toothless. He may not be an alien, but he is most assuredly a large, greyishblack and blue dragon. Which might very well be more frightening than aliens and traffic cops. Even if he truly doesn't mean to alarm anybody unless they alarm him first.

Regardless, he hasn't entirely noticed you yet, he's still plodding around the corner at a leisurely quadrupedal gait, sniffing the air and taking in the sights. He's still getting used to being able to wander around and not get axes hurled at his head.

I want, but not sure about her. /cries. headsomewhere October 20 2010, 01:54:08 UTC
To the Headless rider, nothing is scarier than aliens and traffic cops. In her thoughts she has everything remembered to get, but just in case she's made a list to which she is looking at in her hand. Everything seemed pretty easy to get and she's recognized what is where with the countless times she's come in here for the past few months. ..To think she's been here that long is a rather odd thought. Oh, but she senses something different from what she's used to, and she turns in the direction to--

...An alien!?

She's frozen in fear, sorry Toothless but you're being mistaken for a huge giant man-eating alien.

I've seen something like this in one episode! It's going to-! She's looking around, back to her motorcycle and back to the 'alien' before taking quiet cautious steps back to her motorcycle. Food will just have to wait for another day, right now she's intent on driving back home and burying herself in a cocoon.

PFFFFT. He's kind of like your motorcycle pony, Celty! Promise. hasnoteefs October 20 2010, 02:07:06 UTC
What on earth would you do if you came across an alien traffic cop, Celty. I think your world would just end and implode and everything would be so terrible.

Toothless finally turned and noticed Celty, blinking owlishly and the smooth-clothed, helmeted human... female. He tilted his head. What an unusual creature. Sitting, and being very careful to keep his stance open and friendly (he had had more than enough of spooking humans and shrieking women and people like Javert and their shiny weapons of unknown origin, thank you), his ears perked. He wasn't moving any closer to her, letting her back up toward her strange human transportation device, eventually offering a sort of curious clicking sound.

Well a cute alien is a start? misunderstanding forever. :|b headsomewhere October 20 2010, 02:40:12 UTC
That would be the worst nightmare ever. She would hide in a cocoon forever.

Celty jumps slightly at the clicking sound, frozen in her steps. It had sat down and was just watching her now-- was it trying to communicate with her? Or maybe it was trying to decide how to eat her!? Well it wasn't like she could just talk to it,and she was not going to get close enough to show it her Dreamberry. What if it ate her Dreamberry? Then she'd lose contact with everyone! She couldn't take the chances.

She stops by her motorcycle, very much ready to get on and take off if it made any sudden moves. She's terrified yes, almost to the point she was frozen on the spot, but for an alien this was.. was cute the word? But thinking an alien is cute isn't right, they're suppose to be ugly and slimy and creepy-looking!

well Toothless IS partly based off of Stitch. :O also I'm going to set notifications on fire. hasnoteefs October 20 2010, 05:17:50 UTC
Well then be glad that Somarium probably doesn't have any of those. Yet.

The clicking sound slowly becomes a gurgling grunt, in an attempt to tell the unusual human that he wasn't going to hurt her if she didn't try to hurt him, first. He ducked his head, slowly, creeping forward and sniffing at the air. He made a point of keeping his teeth retracted, gurgling again to show her his harmless gums. See? I don't even have teeth, I'm not gonna hurt you.

He had been working when he received Celty's flurry of texts, but his boss didn't seem to mind when he just said he was leaving for the day. Things really were lax around here, which he had to admit wasn't so bad. It was a slow day anyway, what it being in the afternoon and all.

It was fortunate that Celty was at least in the same district as him, since Shizuo was still getting used to the layout of the city. He still wasn't sure what she meant be "aliens", and whether or not they really existed here. Then again, he's seen stranger, and there was that bastard. So maybe it was possible ( ... )

But upon seeing Toothless, he slowly lowered it. "...You?" he said in a slightly surprised voice at Toothless.

He still didn't know the dragon's name.

this is going to be wondrous. headsomewhere October 20 2010, 05:35:28 UTC
First a very hungry gurgle, then it started getting closer and opening it's mouth and by then she was misunderstanding the whole concept and was convinced that it was indeed intending on eating her. She was close to either using the pepper spray and make a dash for it, were it not the fact her feet was frozen on spot and not to mention she heard a familiar voice. Thankfully Shizuo had answered her without any questions, cause how can she really explain this? Nonetheless she quickly moves on over to him, fingers pressing over the PDA surface quickly and show up the message, "It's an alien! It opened it's mouth and I |"

Though her message was cut off short as she noted the surprised look on his face, glancing between the 'alien' and Shizuo before it dawned on her.

Shizuo... knew the alien?!

....But, how, did that-

...Actually, that could only meet one thing. She clearly hoped this wasn't the case. She reaches up and pinches Shizuo's cheek, tugging on it right that second. When the face didn't remove and reveal a alien face beneath ( ... )

Toothless noticed the light post before he noticed Shizuo, and his teeth popped into place. He hunkered closer to the ground and took the steps he had taken forward backward again, snarling. ...And then he realized it was Shizuo, and couldn't quite decide what to think, because what the hell, blondie, you have a light post in your hand. Humans should really not be able to do that. He dropped back into a cautiously open stance, retracting his teeth again and looking back and forth between the two. Shizuo seemed to know the odd, helmeted human.

...and now aforementioned odd helmeted human was pinching his cheek and somehow managing to look confused without a face. Toothless sat back on his haunches to watch, gurgling curiously at Shizuo. What in the world was going on?

Shizuo was still wondering what Toothless was doing here, and was about to ask if Celty thought he was the alien, when all of the sudden Celty was reaching up to pinch his cheek.

He actually didn't feel any pain. In fact he hardly felt it at all. So instead of wincing or be like a normal person and give a shout, he just turned his head toward her in slight confusion. "...Huh? What, do I have something on my face?" he asked puzzled, first glancing at Celty and then at Toothless in case the dragon saw something, too.

we totally do. :> headsomewhere October 20 2010, 06:01:08 UTC
Alright Toothless in defensive mode was not helping with her fears, but good thing she was more or so focused on figuring out whether Shizuo here is an alien or not. She gives another tug, just to be sure, before she drops her hand and types onto her PDA.

"I thought you might have been an alien too. |"

Clearly Shinra had to be more specific when talking to her about aliens, at least now she's convinced he isn't one. However, that doesn't change the fact a real one like Toothless there sitting all innocently when he tried to eat her a second ago, was really an alien! So back to the matter at hand, "Why is there an alien here?! And that earlier creepy voice.." She shudders at the thought, "We're being invaded! |"

you do a fantastic job *A*; AND I NEED TO PAY MORE ATTENTION TO TAGS. hasnoteefs October 20 2010, 06:11:13 UTC
To Shizuo's sidelong glance, Toothless rolled his shoulders in a shrug and shook his head. Are you nuts? He had no idea what this funny helmeted human was doing! ...Well, okay, Celty wasn't actually a human, but she certainly looked like one. So to Toothless, she was. For now.

The dragon vaguely wished he could see what in the world Celty was doing with the funny thing in her hand, too. Her fingertips were dancing over the front of it at breakneck speed, and she kept presenting it to Shizuo every so often and it was really quite confusing. He trilled from where he was, somewhat put-out. Something was going on, a conversation was being had, and he was being left out. He could see that Celty was afraid of him, so he didn't want to approach and scare her more, lest she scream and Javert come out of the woodwork with his shiny weaponry again, but by Thor he was curious. He whined again.

"...You thought I was an alien?" Shizuo said, giving Celty a bit of a look. If it was any other person, he probably would have punched them in the face or threw them or threw something at them. But this was Celty, so his reaction was far from that.

But there was no time to really question why she thought he of all people was an alien. She was already sending him some more messages, so after reading the text, he blinked. Then he looked up at Toothless. Then to Celty.

And laughed.

"Haha, Celty, he ain't an alien!" He then gave her a playful punch in the arm before nodding to Toothless. "Can't you tell? He's a dragon. Not that I believed it at first myself, but he's definitely not an alien." Still chuckling a little, he shook his head. "Nah, there's no invasion. Not that I know of anyway. Don't know what the voice was, though."

If she could look sheepish at his comment, she would but all she can do is give a nod at his first words. Aliens are very sneaky and can even be disguised as your closest friends, there's never a time you can't be too careful. Though, she probably shouldn't tell him that she did the same to his brother. ..She probably wouldn't be surprised if he told him, of course. Gripping the source of her 'voice' in her hands, her helmet tilted towards Toothless just as Shizuo glances over before back to him and watching him closely ( ... )

Shifting where he sat and continuing to watch the exchange, Toothless gurgled curiously at the turn of events. Shizuo had asked a question about something called "aliens", and then he had for some reason become violent with the helmeted human. That was something he was used to seeing from Astrid, and the dragon briefly wondered if it had something to do with having yellow hair. The helmeted one had even reacted much like Hiccup did when punched-- sort of wobbled on her feet and then rubbed at the spot. He couldn't tell if she had given Shizuo the same sort of affronted what was that for? look Hiccup always gave Astrid when she punched him, but it seemed like a believable enough course of action.

Seeing that Celty seemed to trust Shizuo's word and seemed also to be much more relaxed, Toothless ventured a curious gurgling sound toward the pair, taking a tiny step toward them. Okay, now that you're done punching each other and brandishing light posts, can I say hi?
