"How touching," Vexen did not turn to the person who spoke to him. Though Vexen had the inability to feel such, he certainly recognized the anger in the other's voice. Perhaps a new specimen...but he would have to determine that. No sense in getting carried away before he had the proper resources.
"But that what makes them such amusing specimens...before they are useful that is."
I have no idea what to do with her in the ruins so... have a Nei. >>;;;onlyhalfmonsterFebruary 20 2009, 15:14:25 UTC
Unfortunately, that wall was near the head of a young woman that had just gotten back from the desert and the ghost ship, looking a bit confused, but glad to be back in the city again. Nei had just been ready to go home and finish up the rest of the cleaning that had to be done, when a little monster suddenly got splat against the wall. She let out a yelp, jumping back, before eyeing the person that had thrown the poor creature.
"T-t-that wasn't very nice," she shot at him accusingly, bending down to pick up the carnivorous rabbit. Normally it probably would have bitten her, but it was so out of it from hitting the wall that it just laid there in her hands.
"Oh? I take it you are one of those...." the scientist gave a low, creepy chuckle. These types, the do gooders, often provided the most intersting specimens, such as the Hero of Darkness did. At the thought of his replica left behind in XI's hands, his fist tightened for a mere moment, but that was all the sign the emotionless scientist gave.
Nei made a face, her ears flicking back to lay against her head, like an animal threatened. She took a step back, holding the rabbit close to her chest, the little animal mimicking her.
"And w-what are y-you supposed t-to be?" she asked.
as I promised have a Duzell :3redeyed_devilxFebruary 20 2009, 15:37:40 UTC
A world unknown to him, even Ishtar was not here. He was alone, again. Not that it mattered. He was used to it. Being here would be repetition of the past. After all his companions were all puppets anyway. He faintly stared about with a rather blank expression on his face as he explored the unknown world.
He smelled blood, and it was intoxicating, though he was used to the smell, he couldn't help but be a bit curious on what the hell it was that was giving off the scent.
At first the scientist did not notice the other approaching. But after a moment, the scientist took his gaze off the modern city close by to look at Duzell, his expression emotionless.
It was a man, go figure. He sort of reminded him of someone with that hair... Ah, yes, Ishtar's Ruelle obsessed uncle, Lord Jened. Only this one's hair wasn't silver or wavy... he did seem about the same age. Perfect.
"Nothing, just passing by, really" he muttered the last part to himself.
Sunako happened to be walking by. She was out for her little walk to search for deathly creatures of some sort in which she has still yet to find. She suddenly stopped walking when she noticed a man she hadn't before. She peaked around the corner at the wall he had just thrown the creature at and her eyes became wide with glee.
"... He must be.. a scientist.. or maybe.. a serial killer who dissects his.. victims.. or maybe..." she trailed off as she loudly giggled from behind the wall.
Vexen was in the process of looking about when he heard the giggle. He frowned thoughtfully but it was not the high pitched awful laugh that he was used to hearing from XII.
Wary, but not overly concerned, the Nobody turned, looking about at another creature.

You know it's not very nice to do that to animals they have feelings to, how would you like to be thrown at a wall?
[bends down and scoops up the creature]
even if it's different looking from other creatures.
[looks up with a bit of anger in his eyes]

Vexen peered at the other, curious. He would need specimens soon enough and this one might do quite nicely.
The scientist gave a slow, creepy smile.
"And what do you happen to be?"
