I have no idea what to do with her in the ruins so... have a Nei. >>;;;onlyhalfmonsterFebruary 20 2009, 15:14:25 UTC
Unfortunately, that wall was near the head of a young woman that had just gotten back from the desert and the ghost ship, looking a bit confused, but glad to be back in the city again. Nei had just been ready to go home and finish up the rest of the cleaning that had to be done, when a little monster suddenly got splat against the wall. She let out a yelp, jumping back, before eyeing the person that had thrown the poor creature.
"T-t-that wasn't very nice," she shot at him accusingly, bending down to pick up the carnivorous rabbit. Normally it probably would have bitten her, but it was so out of it from hitting the wall that it just laid there in her hands.
"Oh? I take it you are one of those...." the scientist gave a low, creepy chuckle. These types, the do gooders, often provided the most intersting specimens, such as the Hero of Darkness did. At the thought of his replica left behind in XI's hands, his fist tightened for a mere moment, but that was all the sign the emotionless scientist gave.
Nei made a face, her ears flicking back to lay against her head, like an animal threatened. She took a step back, holding the rabbit close to her chest, the little animal mimicking her.
"And w-what are y-you supposed t-to be?" she asked.
Nei backed up further, not liking the way he was looking at her, at all. The scientists from back then had looked at her (well, the original Nei, not necessarily her) like that as well, before they finally deemed her a failed experiment. This Four person reminded her of those nameless people, far, far too much for her own comfort.
She knelt down, putting the rabbit down on the ground and giving it a nudge. It gladly hopped away, disappearing into the darkness as Nei stood up straight. Slipping her arms behind her back, she slid her hands into her claws that were in the holsters built into her belt, though she kept them behind her, not wanting to attack if the man decided against open hostility.
"I-I don't know w-what your O-Organization is," she began, "b-but it d-doesn't m-mean a thing here in S-Somarium."

He turned from her then, but she was in his mental note of specimens.
