I don't see why not. Didn't know you danced, though.

[ Harry pulled slightly to lead Draco onto the dance floor. Despite what he just said, he takes Draco's hand and waist in the proper places. ]

Lelouch was? [He smiles brightly even though he feels that his little brother, in fact all of his family, deserved far more awards than what they were given. Ah, well, what can one do. That does not stop him from clapping loudly for his dear little brother, all the same.
Though, he is now wondering why Edgeworth did not receive any award. At least there should be a best dressed. Ah, he really doesn't understand these commoners' awards, but he is trying. Look at how much he is trying.]

It is precisely as the crowd has quieted down at the end of the Police Award Ceremony when a door to the side of the room leading to the kitchens is flung open nosily and without restraint.
In stumbles Franziska von Karma, the Prosecutioral Prodigy and youngest daughter of the highly esteemed Manfred von Karma, a pale hand clutched tightly into the gaping hole of a wound in her abdomen. But try as she might to hold herself together and keep her family's respected blood from spilling out onto the pristine ballroom floor, not even a stubborn woman like Franziska can fight against death itself and win.
THUD.
And with a brief panicked look around the crowd, the woman drops to the ground gracelessly. Her whip lays forgotten in the doorway.
But just what is that sound in the background behind her? A faint laugh echoing off the walls in the hallway behind her?]

At the back of his throat, where his neck meets his shoulder, Edgeworth will feel a large, sturdy hand grip him firmly and hold him back from the woman. It is Inspector Javert, who leaped out of the crowd and straight to action before anyone else could properly respond, his face grim, solemn, and alert. He pulls the Chief Prosecutor away from the fallen girl and turns him to stare full in the face.]
I am very sorry for this, Monsieur. I do respect your authority as my superior, [murmurs Javert with a steely voice.] But you are leaving. Now.
NIGHTRAY! [he calls commandingly over the crowd.] Come here! You will take Monsieur away immediately! Send for the emergency physicians on your way!
[Javert, with a hand gripping Edgeworth like a vice, turns to survey the crowd and shout crisp, abrupt instructions over the din:]
The rest of you, stay back! Weasley, Brooks, Death the Kid, we need a perimeter. Vermillion, Potter, snatch ( ... )

Draco, listen to me. Go home. Go back with your parents all right, don't worry you'll be fine with them. [ At least he can trust Lucius to protect his family. ]
Ron! Meet me outside when you're done!
[ And with that Harry's turned and heading back through the kitchen to the scene of the crime. ]
