county fairs are so great.
I can't lie. I really, really, really love fairs.
I love everything about them. I love fair food, fair people, fair animals, and fair activities.
Today we went to the Richwood Independent Fair, in the town where I am living now. It is one of only three independent fairs remaining in the state of Ohio. We got to see all the lovely animals, including a goat that I absolutely, positively fell in love with, who is FOR SALE, gosh darn it. (No, my hubby won't let me buy him.) I petting the Jersey cows. (I also want a Jersey cow. Badly.) My old boss's son raced in the moto cross races - he is 5 years old!!! But he won!! Yeah, Zach!! And then I spent the rest of my money on fair food. Fried veggies, orangeade, corn dogs, sweet potato fries, and slushies. It was fantastic. No fried cheese on a stick at this fair, though. That was the only dissapointment. ; )
So, it was a good night. That's all. ; )
