[To say Maia was confused would have been an extreme understatement. She was supposed to be with Gol. Even if Samos had told her that the dark eco would affect them both, Gol was still her brother - her twin brother! Maia wasn't going to let that go because there were some risks that came from working with dark eco. Besides, Gol was studying to become a sage; he knew what he was doing!
Of course, it was rather difficult for Maia to take care of her brother when she didn't even know where she was, or how she had gotten there. So, for now, she's wandering about the boat and trying to make sense of where she is, how she got here, and where her brother could be.]
